With the Sony WRT-810's sophisticated Phase Locked Loop (PLL) circuit, the radio microphone can easily operate on any one of 102 carrier frequencies selected by a simple button operation. the built in high efficiency DC-DC converter enables long battery life (8 hours from two L40 (LR6) alkaline batteries.
The WRT-810 features a LCD display that shows the current channel number, residual battery power, input attenuation setting, AF input level and RF output.
The electronic input attenuator has a 0 to 21 dB range in 3 dB steps and can be saved along with the channel information even when the battery has been removed. The compander (compressor/expander) system enables transmission over a wide dynamic range with minimum noise. the AF switch on the microphone can be use as a handy audio input on/off switch |
