The Panasonic HDX-900E uses the DVCPRO HD format, with its long track record and proven reliability in broadcast use. Able to record in both the 720p and 1080i digital TV formats, the AJ-HDX900 excels in the HD production of TV programs, music and video clips, corporate video and other content for use virtually anywhere in the world.

The HDX-900E supports a large range of HD formats: 1080/59.94i, 29.97P, 23.98P (2:3), 23.98pA, 1080/50i, 25P, 720/59.94P, 29.97P & 23.98P over 59.94P, 720/50P, 25P over 50P. It records 100MB/s to DVCPRO HD medium size tapes (with a maximum recording duration of 33 minutes). The camera features a standard 2.3" CCD with B4 lens mount and is SD/HD genlockable with HDSDI and has downconverted SDI and composite/Y outputs.
