BAFTA Award nominations for projects facilitated by ONSIGHT, including 'David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive'

07th April, 2014

We are proud to see a number ONSIGHT projects nominated in both the prestigious BAFTA Television Awards and Television Craft Awards 2014.

As announced on 7 April, David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive has been shortlisted in the category for Best Specialist Factual.  We congratulate Colossus Productions, Anthony Geffen and the team, including our staff involved from our camera and post production divisions.  This high profile film follows a successful run of productions with Sir David Attenborough, Atlantic Productions and Sky 3D.

ONSIGHT has been a part of their groundbreaking 3D journey from the beginning, starting with Flying Monsters, which notably won the first BAFTA for a 3D programme within this same category in 2011. ONSIGHT must also congratulate the team behind Channel 4's Toast of London from Objective Productions, nominated for Best Situation Comedy.  Our staff provided the camera facilities for this well received series. The ceremony for the BAFTA Television Awards takes place on Sunday 18 May in London and the full list of nominees can be seen here.

Last month, BAFTA revealed its highly respected Television Craft Award shortlist.  Further congratulations goes to Colossus Productions and the production team recognised, such as Director Daniel M. Smith. With David Attenborough's Natural Museum Alive and Micro Monsters with David Attenborough - Episode Predator, they have amassed 4 nominations, seen here. These results are made public on Sunday 27 April during the event at The Brewery in London.

Fingers crossed...
