P2 Varicam visits WildscreenDate: 22nd October, 2008 |
The Wildscreen Festival was founded by Sir Peter Scott in 1982 and has been organised every other year for the past 25 years.
Held in Bristol, the world's centre for wildlife filmmaking, it attracts hundreds of delegates from around the globe and is organised by UK-based charity Wildscreen, which runs a number of initiatives that use the power of film and photography to inspire conservation.
Industry luminaries including Sir David Attenborough and leading tiger expert and conservationist Valmik Thapar will speak at this year's Wildscreen Festival.
On Sight are proud to be present at the Festival's Trade Show, where we will have the UK's first P2 Varicam on our stand. We will also be demonstrating P2 workflow throughout the week through a short film competition, with various shoots happening at the start of the festival and finished programmes being shown on our stand at the end. The main components of the 2008 Wildscreen Festival are the innovative key events, the Panda Awards and trade show. The opening night event takes place on Sunday 19th October with the festival running until the following Friday.
