Be sure to catch the epic two-part drama starring Dougray Scott, Joely Richardson, Brian Cox, Vanessa Redgrave, Eddie Izzard and Jason Priestley this Christmas. "The Day of the Triffids" is a new version of the sci-fi classic and will be simulcast on the BBC HD channel (available through Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media) this December.

Based on John Wyndham's best selling post-apocalyptic novel published in 1951, this epic and futuristic drama is a co-production between Power and Canadian producer Prodigy Pictures for the BBC and was shot on two Sony F35 cameras.

On Sight provided a digital dailies service, synced rushes to create offline tapes, LUT (Look Up Table) management as well as conforming to DPX for visual effects.

The Day of the Triffids will be broadcast by the BBC at 9pm on the 29th and 30th of December.
