Iron Man rocks back with AC/DCDate: 28th January, 2010

The debut video to be taken from the album 'AC/DC: Iron Man 2' is 'Shoot To Thrill' with Marvel making the video available to view online this week. Iron Man 2 follows on the success of the 2008 film and features stars including Robert Downey Jr, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlet Johansson.

Through a unique collaboration between Marvel Studios and Columbia Records, AC/DC's music will feature in the film. "Jon Favreau's vision and passion for AC/DC's music blend seamlessly into this incredible film" said Steve Barnett, co-chairman of Columbia Records. "The music really underscores the high energy and excitement of the film."

The 'Shoot To Thrill' video uses footage shot in Buenos Aires from AC/DC's Black Ice World tour, the second highest grossing tour of 2009 according to Pollstar, as well as incorporating exclusive footage from the Marvel film.

AC/DC's three night stint at the River Plate Stadium in Argentina was captured using a total of 20 HD cameras, 15 of them REDs. Axis Films and HD Lab worked closely with Serpent Productions, who work with some of the world's best known artists, to ensure this file-based project ran smoothly. The 'Black Ice' concert is currently being offlined by Serpent with the HD Lab providing preparation for post services and data back-up with HD Hire providing edit systems.

The album 'AC/DC: Iron Man 2' is out on April 19th with the film set for general release in the US in May.
